Tax Specialist - Finance

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review tax returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings and ensure strict compliance to BIR deadlines
• Reconcile tax accounts to ensure accuracy in financial statement reporting
• Prepare for, and assist with BIR tax audits
• Perform tax reconciliation statement (tax return vs books), tax reconciliation entries and analysis, tax schedules for external and internal users
• Do escalations with superior on time (as needed), recommend proper resolution of such incident/escalations
• Recommend and implement improvement on current processes related to functional assignment
• Understand and engage in transfer pricing related discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance /Accounting
• Preferably with 7 years experience, specializing in Finance – Taxation and Financial Analysis
• With knowledge regarding of tax laws and BIR issuances sufficient to provide guidance or recommend proper tax treatments to relevant stakeholders
• Highly proficient in Excel, knowledge of other MS office applications
• Above par analytical skills, excellent communication and comprehension abilities, and quick knowledge absorption.
