Tax Assistant Manager (SPX Express )

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end tax management for Thailand, covering tax strategy, planning, compliance, risk management, and reporting.
• Drive tax optimization and manage key risks across CIT, VAT, WHT, SBT, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions.
• Act as a trusted tax advisor to the business, partnering with operational, finance, and regional teams on key decisions and new initiatives.
• Lead tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities, external advisors, and consultants.
• Drive strategic tax projects and transformation, including e-Tax, e-WHT, tax health checks, restructuring, and e-commerce/logistics-related tax matters.
• Monitor regulatory changes, including Thai tax legislation, transfer pricing, and OECD Pillar Two, and advise management on business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation.
• Proactive, hands-on (“can-do”) attitude with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a fast-growing or start-up environment is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Professional tax certification such as CPA (Thailand) license is an advantage.
