We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).

In this role, you will take ownership of the full accounting cycle, lead month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensure compliance with statutory and Group reporting requirements. You will act as a key finance partner internally and externally, coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and cross-functional teams.

What We Are Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s Degree or professional certification (ACCA/CPA or equivalent) is an asset

Experience

• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance
• Proven leadership of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Strong experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud highly preferred)
• Exposure to treasury, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions
• Experience coordinating statutory reporting and audits

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting and tax framework
• Experience with e-Invoicing, myDATA, and ERP automation
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance

Languages

• Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory
• Greek – professional or native level

Your Main Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Closing

• Lead the monthly and annual closing process in Oracle Cloud
• Prepare and submit complete reporting packages within Group deadlines
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity across financial statements
• Coordinate statutory financial statements with external accountants

Transfer Pricing & Intercompany

• Collaborate with external advisors on transfer pricing matters
• Reconcile and monitor intercompany balances and transactions
• Ensure proper ERP booking and documentation of intercompany charges

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Execute payment runs and oversee banking operations
• Monitor bank reconciliations and cash handling procedures

AP/AR Supervision

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Supervise invoice approval workflows
• Monitor ageing reports and doubtful accounts
• Ensure accurate booking and reconciliation of transactions

ERP & Process Optimization

• Oversee ERP workflows and system mappings (Oracle Cloud / Soft One)
• Ensure process efficiency and data accuracy
• Support finance digitalization and automation initiatives

Digital Compliance & Governance

• Coordinate e-Invoicing and myDATA compliance
• Support digital finance operations and system integrations
• Maintain corporate governance documentation (Board & GA minutes)

HR & Payroll Support

• Review payroll data in cooperation with HR
• Support compliance with labor and ERGANI requirements
• Oversee attendance and reporting systems

External Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Ensure timely statutory submissions
