Job Description:

Purpose and Accountabilities

  • Marine Lubricants & Grease Technical Services for International Vessels
  • Achieve revenue targets for marine lubricants, greases, and related technical services.
  • Visit customers and vessels in port to provide technical problem-solving, recommendations, and support.
  • Collaborate with global Technical and Marketing teams to expand technical service offerings.
  • Create lubrication charts
    (comprehensive lists of lubrication points, required lubricants, and application details for machinery and equipment).
  • Work with domestic and international engine manufacturers to obtain product approvals.
  • Provide support to enhance the technical expertise of customers and internal teams, including organizing technical seminars.

Skills & Requirement

  • Japanese proficiency: Business ~ Native Level

  • English proficiency: TOEIC 800 or above

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline

  • Technical background in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field

  • Shipboard experience (approximately 1–5 years)

  • STCW Certificate of Competency Min Class 2

  • MS Office skills (Excel: data processing including Pivot Tables; PowerPoint: presentations)
