Job Description:

Shell Business Operations KL is seeking motivated individuals to join our SBOKL Internship Program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts and gain hands-on experience. We have exciting internship opportunity in Lubricants Supply Chain (LSC).

We are currently looking for candidates to fill the following roles:

  • Material Planning Intern

  • Supply Coordinator Intern What's the role?Material Planning Intern- Join our APAC Material Planning team and gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations for lubricants. You will support raw material planning activities that ensure timely availability of critical inputs across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring raw material inventory levels and replenishment plans.

  • Support data analysis for demand forecasting and supply planning.

  • Collaborate with regional planners and suppliers to resolve material availability issues.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards for planning performance and KPIs.

Supply Coordinator Intern - The Supply Coordinator (Sup Co) plays a pivotal role in ensuring product availability across the Shell network—the right product, in the right place, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging advanced planning tools like DDMRP, the Sup Co executes replenishment strategies to meet critical KPIs such as On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO). This role is not just about movement—it's about precision, responsiveness, and proactive coordination.

  • As a key liaison for Customer Service Operations (CSO) and Demand Planners, the Sup Co provides vital insights on:

  • Restocking timelines for backorders

  • Inventory availability

  • Over/under lifting trends

  • And many more

  • This role is essential in bridging planning with execution, ensuring supply continuity and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What’s Needed from You Academic Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics or related field (penultimate/final-year preferred)

  • Minimum CGPA: 3.0

Internship Commitment

  • Minimum 6‑month internship duration(Start Date – April 2026 onwards)

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency

  • Knowledge in automation or data analytics tools (added advantage)

Personal Attributes

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and fast learner

  • Strong problem-solving mindset

  • Resilient and agile when dealing with uncertainty and complexity

Work Skills

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

  • Comfortable operating in virtual, uncertain, and dynamic environments

  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities

Communication Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Excellent proficiency in English
