Job Summary

Leads the U.S. Procurement and Strategic Sourcing organization within Supply Chain Management, driving operational excellence across sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and category management. Accountable for planning, evaluation, and procurement of all food, beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), packaging, and key direct operating categories to achieve growth, quality and cost optimization objectives.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leads supplier strategy, sourcing, selection and risk management to secure products that meet required specifications, quality standards, and competitive pricing while optimizing lead times.

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and category spend management across food, beverage, packaging, and related supply contracts to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.

  • Builds and maintains strong supplier partnerships, using performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, mitigate risk, and ensure resilient supply.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Culinary Calendar, Commercialization, Distribution and Logistics teams to ensure supply continuity and support innovation through new product development initiatives.

  • Leads, coaches and develops a high-performing procurement team, establishing and tracking KPIs to align execution with strategic, operational and financial goals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Exceptional contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills with deep expertise in RFP development, evaluation, and execution.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional and cross-supplier projects, demonstrating strong collaboration, project management, and organizational leadership.

  • Skilled communicator—adept at engaging and influencing executive and C-level stakeholders through clear, strategic, and results-driven communication.

  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities with strong data interpretation skills to drive informed sourcing and business decisions.

  • Experienced in problem solving, risk management, and team leadership, fostering accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong knowledge of commodity markets and ability to translate to impact on business.

  • Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance standards and certifications.
