Job Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.

• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.

• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)

• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.

Job Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team

• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction

• Strong problem solving skills

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Eligibility criteria applies

Starting Hourly Rate - $19.00 - $23.00, as well as an additional $2/hour for certain shifts worked after midnight

About Us

Beginning as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park, Shake Shack was created by Danny Meyer, Founder and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group and best-selling author of Setting the Table. Shack Fans lined up daily, making the cart a resounding success, and donating all proceeds back to the park beautification efforts.
