The Wireless Analog/Digital and Lo Ra System teams in our Neuchâtel and Grenoble offices are world leaders in Low Power Wireless Area Network (LPWAN) solutions.

Our expertise spans the entire system—from antenna design, IC analog and digital development, low-power system design, protocols, to cloud-based applications. You will be part of the next evolution in Lo Ra and Lo RaWAN system architecture.

Job Summary:

Join our pioneering team in Neuchâtel and take a leading role in developing the next generation of IoT wireless solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Design Engineer with deep CMOS IC design and RF system architecture expertise.

This role offers the chance to influence both block- and system-level design, shaping advanced RF technologies from concept to product.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, simulation, and optimization of RF front ends (~40%).
• Contribute to RF architecture definition for receivers, transmitters, frequency synthesizers, and building blocks such as LNAs, mixers, filters, PAs, and VCOs (~20%).
• Extract S-parameter models for packages and PCBs (~10%).
• Develop and optimize matching networks to meet regional regulatory requirements (~10%).
• Simulate and measure radio performance and compliance (~10%).
• Optimize application PCBs to ensure robust RF performance (~10%).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven expertise in LNAs, mixers, filters, and power amplifiers (sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz).
• Experience with matching network development for Rx/Tx applications.
• Proficient with EM simulation tools (Si Wave, HFSS, EMX).
• Strong understanding of system-level interactions between RF blocks and power management.
• Innovative, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
• Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).

Desired Qualifications:

• PhD with 12+ years’ experience.
• Track record in non-constant envelope modulations.
• Familiarity with CSS modulation and Lo RaWAN protocol.
