RN Clinic - General Surgery - Torrey Pines (Remote)

This is a benefited, full time position working 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) generally from 8am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. This is a fully remote position with training located at on site at the Torrey Pines clinic for about 4 weeks.Why join Scripps Health?

What you'll do:

• Conduct patient assessments and provide clinical triage support.

• Manage and respond to patient portal messages in a timely, professional manner.

• 100% remote work environment; productivity is monitored based on call volume and completed patient portal messages.

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.

• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.

• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.

• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.

• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma

Required Certification/Registration:

• CA RN license
• BLS from the American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• BSN
• General Surgery experience
• Epic ambulatory experience
• Surgical experience
• Triage experience

Position Pay Range: $51.66-$74.92/hour
