Role Profile: The Prefab & E-House Expert acts as the technical authority and customer reference for prefabricated modular power solutions including E-Houses, skid-based systems, and integrated containerized electrical rooms across MEA within the EU C&SP Solution Center. The role ensures technical excellence, design standardization, industrialization strategy, and governance compliance from early prescription and tender phases through manufacturing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site installation, and commissioning. Mission: Act as primary technical reference for Prefab and E-House architectures. Translate customer technical drivers into optimized modular power solutions. Support upstream prescription activities before RFQ stage. Lead standardization of E-House and modular reference designs across regions. Ensure alignment between tender commitments and manufacturable solutions. Capture lessons learned to improve cost, quality, and lead-time performance. Key Activities and Responsibilities: Prefab & E-House Architecture Ownership Define and validate reference architectures for modular substations, E-Houses, and skid-based power solutions. Select and justify construction methodology (steel structure, sandwich panels, fire rating, blast resistance). Define electrical integration strategy (MV/LV switchgear, UPS, transformers, protection systems). Ensure transportability, lifting constraints, and site installation strategy are embedded in early design. Ensure scalability and modular expansion capability from Day 1. Tender & Upstream Support Support tender and pre-tender phases with validated technical architectures and assumptions. Define compliance matrices versus project specifications and local regulations. Ensure consistency between commercial proposal and executable engineering design. Identify technical risks, transport constraints, and interface gaps early. Technical Design Authority: Review and approve general arrangement drawings, structural calculations, thermal studies, and cable routing layouts. Validate integration of HVAC, Fire & Gas, BMS/EPMS, and auxiliary systems within E-House. Ensure compliance with IEC standards, local utility requirements, and safety regulations. Challenge over-engineering and under-engineering during detailed design reviews. Align designs with Schneider Electric decarbonization and Eco Struxure strategy. Manufacturing & Execution Support: Act as technical escalation point during manufacturing and assembly phases. Support FAT, integrated system testing, and quality inspections. Coordinate with factories, procurement, logistics, and site teams. Support commissioning, SAT, and energization activities for critical projects. Train internal teams on modularization strategy and best practices. Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with IEC, local codes, and client technical standards. Identify design deviations and change impacts versus approved baseline. Promote modular standardization to reduce cost and lead time. Drive continuous improvement across projects and regions. What's in it for me?: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Fluent English. Additional languages are a plus. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in prefabricated power systems or modular substations. Experience in data centers, industrial plants, or mission-critical infrastructure. Experience with MV/LV systems, protection relays, UPS, and integration of auxiliary systems. Strong understanding of modular construction principles and factory-based execution. Ability to read and challenge GA drawings, structural designs, and electrical schematics. Strong risk anticipation and interface management capabilities. Ability to lead technical strategy in a complex matrix organization. Strong communication and customer-facing credibility. Let us learn about you! Apply today.
