Overview: The Methods Engineer is responsible for implementing immediate resolutions for process-related issues and customer complaints.
Take the initiatives in the process improvement projects that will improve cost, quality, productivity, and efficiency driving innovative solutions to improve the overall Yield and Defect Per Unit (DPU).
Develops new manufacturing processes and line improvements by working with respective Cross-functional teams.
What will you do?
Ensure enough Capacity & Utilization for production lines and equipment from peak production quantity forecast of year using CAMA (Capacity management), LADM (Line architecture Design Management) and MPH (Material Picking Handling) analysis Optimize control by Poka Yoke / Jidoka in all cells by improving Process Quality Ensure Productivity on DLP (Direct Labor Productivity) Saving by Design Time Reduction Projects, KD (co-design) Improvement Projects, Ergonomic Assessment and Process Design Improvement Ensure the qualification of new projects and new processes to have a smooth running Achieve the targeted SPS Score and maintain for the year through continuous improvement tools and techniques, and involve on standardization deployment with benchmarking and knowledge sharing Ensure the activity and all products comply to Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental requirements.
Optimize the overall process and ensure that all metrics are measured for improvement Who would be successful?
