Your Mission
The Lead Engineer is responsible for managing and guiding engineering teams to deliver the technical scope of projects of moderate to significant size and complexity. The role ensures high-quality technical execution, effective resource planning, and seamless customer engagement while supporting organizational strategy, financial performance, and team capability development with accountability and responsibility.

Your Role

  • Magic happens when you bring great people together!
  • Support Project Managers and Sales teams in preparing engineering estimates, scope definitions, and deliverables for new opportunities.
  • Determine required engineering resources, assign work effectively, and ensure efficient manpower utilization.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to finalize project plans and lead technical kickoff meetings with customers.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight to ensure accurate, innovative, and high-quality solution designs.
  • Coordinate and participate in on-site engineering efforts, system start-ups, and commissioning.
  • Engage global engineering centers to ensure accurate and consistent deliverables.
  • Identify project risks, foresee changes, and work with Project Managers to secure resources or re-contract as needed.
  • Support preparation of progress reports, audits, forecasts, and change order documentation.
  • Monitor technical and commercial performance of projects and provide updates internally and externally.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, managing expectations and resolving issues.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering processes, quality standards, and best practices.
  • Review team performance, identify gaps, and provide development support.
  • Improve project margins through effective cost control, resource allocation, and minimizing rework.

About You

  • Extensive automation and control engineering experience.
  • Experience in global project environments and customer-facing engagements.
  • Technical Risk assessment and mitigation experience.
  • Experience with third-party solution providers.
  • Project financial understanding (P&L, budgeting, forecasting).
  • Proficiency with Schneider Electric Industrial Automation products. (Preferrable)
  • Experience leading engineering teams.
