About the role

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Team Leader and drive operational excellence through effective leadership and continuous improvement initiatives! DGM Manufacturing production: Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Management Lead and manage production/manufacturing sector performance through structured team leadership and hierarchical animation. Align workforce, equipment, and materials with short- and medium-term production requirements. Drive execution of standardized work practices across the shopfloor. Lead Short Interval Management (SIM) to monitor performance and address deviations in real-time. Escalate operational issues proactively and ensure timely resolution. Manufacturing Performance & Delivery Drive operational KPIs across: Safety Quality Delivery/Service levels Cost efficiency Optimize utilization of manufacturing resources (people, processes, systems). Ensure adherence to SPS (Schneider Production System/Lean principles or equivalent). People Management Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for production teams. Build capability through structured training and development plans. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and engagement. Continuous Improvement Champion continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as: Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma A3 Problem Solving 8D / Kaizen Identify and eliminate waste, variability, and inefficiencies in production processes. Drive sustainable improvements aligned to business and customer needs. Manufacturing Supply Chain & Planning Optimize end-to-end manufacturing flows from supplier to customer. Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to balance capacity and demand. Ensure system settings and production planning support operational efficiency. Change Management Apply structured change management methodologies to implement business priorities. Ensure smooth adoption of process, system, and organizational changes. Deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with business and people objectives. Digital & Data-Driven Operations Leverage digital tools and systems for: Production planning Performance monitoring Process optimization Drive adoption of digital technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making. Utilize data insights for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure safe working conditions through adherence to Health & Safety standards and practices. Promote a strong safety culture across the manufacturing floor. Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational safety requirements. Stakeholder Management & Influence Effectively influence and align stakeholders across manufacturing, planning, and leadership teams. Present data-driven recommendations with clarity and conviction. Build strong internal networks to drive collaboration and results. Customer Focus Understand and anticipate customer needs and expectations. Ensure production aligns to deliver a superior customer experience across the lifecycle. Foster a customer-centric mindset within the team. Key Skills & Competencies Manufacturing Management & Operations Excellence Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) Change Management Digital Acumen & Data Analytics Supply Chain & Production Planning Health & Safety Management Leadership & People Development Stakeholder Management & Influencing Skills Customer-Centric Mindset Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field. 8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing/production environments. Proven experience in managing teams and driving shopfloor performance. Exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with digital manufacturing tools and systems is a plus.
