Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain).
Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the roadmap and execution of our Industrial Edge Platform, a core foundation enabling secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery on industrial edge devices.
This platform spans a Linux-based execution environment, device management, and application management capabilities.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle and work closely with engineering, security, UX, and platform stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Define product value proposition, and multi‑release roadmap aligned with platform and business priorities.

Lead device management capabilities: provisioning, identity, configuration, OTA updates, fleet monitoring.

Drive application management: onboarding, deployment, versioning, rollback, and lifecycle governance.

Translate customer needs into reusable platform capabilities and clear product requirements.

Partner with engineering to ensure delivery quality, security, scalability, and operability.

Define quality gates, release readiness criteria, and success metrics.

Ensure secure-by-design principles across the Industrial Edge Platform.

Align with product security standards, vulnerability management, and software supply-chain expectations.

Collaborate with architecture and security teams on risk management and compliance.
Developer
Experience: & Adoption
- Champion strong developer experience through clear APIs, documentation, and standard patterns.
- Enable internal product and solution teams through reusable building blocks and paved roads.
- Track adoption, reliability, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
What will make you successful:
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management or equivalent product leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and platform architecture.
Experience: with device lifecycle and/or application lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to influence across complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Industrial or OT edge context (long lifecycle devices, reliability constraints, intermittent connectivity).
- Nice to Have
- Familiarity with containers, runtimes, OTA mechanisms, edge orchestration.
- Exposure to secure boot, signing, SBOMs, or vulnerability management.
Experience: working in a large-scale platform organization.
