Role Overview 1) The candidate is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining Electrical design data for various SE Product ranges in ECAD Tool 2) This includes developing accurage schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical docuentaiton using ECAD tool.
Key Responsibilities ECAD Library Management Develop, Maintain and control ECAD Library content including symbols, macros, 2D/ 3D representations, parts data management Ensure consistency, naming conventions and classification Validate and release new components based on supplier datasheets and electrical design rules ECAD Process Leadership 1) Define and maintain ECAD standards, workflows, templates, and quality guidelines 2) Drive process improvements, automation scripts, macros, and API-based enhancements. 3) Collaborate with IT/application support teams on ECAD tool upgrades, database migration, license management, and system optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration 1) Work with electrical engineers, mechanical teams, manufacturing, and quality to ensure design data meets product requirements. 2) Provide support and training to engineers on ECAD tools, library usage, and design workflows. 3) Collaborate with IT/application teams to implement ECAD updates, automation scripts, or tool integrations.
Quality Compliance & Standards 1) Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (IEC, UL, EN, company‑specific guidelines) 2) Contribute to continuous improvement of ECAD processes, library governance, and workflow efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: with Electrical ECAD Tool like Eplan, E3, SeeXP Strong understanding of electrical components, industrial wiring standards, control systems, and panel design Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems Familiarity with 3D routing tools (Creo) Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
