Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Building Automation Service Specialist II in our Las Vegas, NV location.
This position will allow you to be a part of an inclusive team, the opportunity to be hands on and customer facing.
What do you get to do in this position?
Software experience is a plus to perform controls sequence modifications.
Protocols: Lon Works and/or BACnet (INET, VISTA, CONTINUUM, I/A, Eco-Struxure is a plus) Performs commissioning of control systems to ensure proper operation Repair and reconfigure control system equipment, including conduit, wire and field devices Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software Assist in performing job site training sessions Develop graphics and custom list views Oversees subcontractors to meet specifications and schedule Provides emergency and warranty service as required May lead project installation team in executing systems installations Provide technical support to other team members Troubleshooting video surveillance and access control systems Other duties may be assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES: Advanced understanding of HVAC, access or other building or electronic control systems Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint EDUCATION: Two-year (2) degree in a related technical field required or related work experience EXPERIENCE: Four years related work experience required Knowledge of video surveillance and access control systems a plus Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.
