The candidate will play the role of a Service Now Developer on the Service Now Platform Team within the organization of Schneider Electric.
This position requires the candidate to be an expert in Service Now design and development principles that enables them to collaborate within a team.
The candidate should be able to receive requirements, suggest solutions, and develop using Service Now best practices.
The candidate will join an existing team to continue the expansion of Service Now throughout the Schneider Landscape.
The candidate will primarily focus on the following Service Now Modules:
ITSM, HRSD & Enterprise, CSM, ITOM, and ESC Service Portal.
Responsibilities: Receive, Document, and Develop requirements throughout the Service Now Platform Follow architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities to maintain regulatory compliance with enterprise Service Now standards Provide technical guidance, perform peer code reviews, and ensure the Service Now team follows software development best-practices to fulfill requirements Take part in scrum development activities for complex requirements & project activities Take part in issue resolution for the different Service Now Modules used at Schneider Electric Create/maintain API & data integration processes between Service Now and other services Work with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Integration Platform as a Service (i PaaS) technologies in conjunction with Service Now Collaborate with Service Now Support concerning issues and other technical aspects of the Service Now platform Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Proven experience in understanding & capturing business requirements, streamlining complex business / IT processes, and help manage / deploy Service Now capabilities / features in an agile manner Good leadership skills coupled with exceptional judgment and tact.
Understanding of the Service Now best practices for development & configuration Ability to translate requirements into an enterprise solution, break it down in User Stories with a clear deployment roadmap Excellent knowledge and experience developing in JavaScript and on the Service Now Platform Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex business requirements from real world scenarios and the ability to translate them into actionable target requirements Deep technical proficiency while the ability to keeping an eye on the bigger picture Ability to identify, prioritize, & weigh different development options, while balancing business, cost, and technology priorities Contributing to and driving global technology standard proposals and filing exceptions as required Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies, architectures, standards & processes, and a good understanding of infrastructure engineering processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Good relationship building, facilitation & influencing skills, and experience of leveraging these on business leadership contexts Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change Working on Agile / Scrum development process Certifications: Certified Service Now Administrator Service Now Developer Certified (preferred)
Education: & Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience: within Service Now ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, & Service Portal Development 2+ years of hands-on development experience on Service Now platform overall 1+ years of hands-on development & configuration on the Service Now Service Portal Should have worked on at least 1 end to end implementation of a Service Now module Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
