The Role:
Modelling and Network Design team helps Design and develop a Simpler, Total cost/ cash efficient, Resilient, Sustainable, end-to-end supply chain The key objectives of the team are to develop strategies to optimize/ redefine supply chain to make it simpler, cost-efficient, lean, resilient and sustainable As part of the Modeling and Network Design team, you are entrusted to conduct robust analysis, develop recommendations to counter geo-political disruptions (e.g., US Tariffs), and influence key stakeholders.
You will be able to have a massive influence of the future of supply chain of Gartner #1 company by developing strategies and plans to counter the most impactful disruptions of today’s supply chain
Key Responsibities:
As a Modeling and Network Design Intern, you will be required to: Develop intuitive visualizations and dashboards to enhance endtoend supply chain flow visibility, highlight bottlenecks, and support faster decisionmaking. Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments, integrating transportation, warehousing, production, inventory, and service-level considerations to support strategic recommendations. Build and optimize supply chain network models using cuttingedge tools such as Supply Chain Guru (SCG), helping simulate scenarios and identify cost, service, and sustainability tradeoffs. Support end-to-end network design projects, including data structuring, scenario building, sensitivity analyses, and presentation of insights to cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborate with modelers and planning teams to troubleshoot data issues, refine model assumptions, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical outputs to ensure transparency, repeatability, and knowledge transfer within the team. Explore automation or analytics enhancements using Python/Power BI/SQL (if relevant) to streamline recurring modeling workflows.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Strong analytical and datahandling skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python for preparing and validating large datasets.
Experience: with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to create clear dashboards that improve supply chain flow visibility.
Good understanding of supply chain fundamentals and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concepts.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and continuous learning mindset is a must What’s in it for me?
