SIOP Leader
Position: S&OP Leader Location: Buenos Aires – Argentina Role Purpose The S&OP Leader is responsible for leading and continuously improving the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for Argentina, ensuring cross-functional alignment between Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. This role acts as the process owner of the monthly SIOP cycle, driving demand and supply balance, and executive decision-making to support service level, inventory optimization, and financial targets. The S&OP Leader will be a key strategic partner for local stakeholders, translating business strategy into a robust operating plan. What You Will Do Lead the end-to-end monthly SIOP cycle, ensuring strong governance, discipline and adherence to timelines. Facilitate cross-functional SIOP meetings (Demand, Supply, Pre-SIOP and Executive SIOP), driving alignment and decision-making. Challenge and consolidate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams. Partner with Supply + Inventory Planning and Logistics to evaluate supply feasibility, constraints and capacity scenarios. Prepare and present executive-level SIOP materials, including risks, opportunities, trade-offs and financial impacts. Work closely with Finance to ensure alignment between the SIOP plan and financial targets (revenue, margin, inventory, working capital). Drive continuous improvement of SIOP maturity, tools, KPIs and best practices, in alignment with regional or global standards. Monitor and analyze key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level and inventory health. Act as a key interface with regional South America teams, contributing to standardization and knowledge sharing. Support ad-hoc scenario planning and decision support for business disruptions or strategic initiatives. Here’s What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields. Solid experience (typically 8+ years) in S&OP, IBP, Demand Planning or Supply Planning, preferably in multinational or complex organizations. Proven ability to lead cross-functional processes and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights. Experience working with planning systems (Kinaxis - other advanced planning tools - and Excel). Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus). Key Competencies Strong leadership and facilitation skills. Strategic mindset combined with operational execution focus. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Structured, process-oriented, and results-driven. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with ambiguity. Nice to Have Experience in South America markets, particularly Argentina, including exposure to demand volatility or constraints. Experience with Demand Planning process.
