About the role
Role Purpose: The DPAC Tender Manager is responsible for leading and managing East Asia tendering activities for Digital Power projects, including EPMS, BMS, and EPO systems. This role ensures timely, competitive, and compliant submissions aligned with governance standards and profitability objectives. The position requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver winning proposals. Key Responsibilities: Tender Management Review RFQs and clarify scope for Digital Power Automation related packages (EPMS, EBO, Skid solutions). Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including BOQ, compliance statements, and deviations. Coordinate with global and regional teams for solution architecture (IEC61850, Modbus, SCADA integration) and solution involving Solution Tendering and coordination for the following Regional Bids: SCADA systems Power Monitoring Systems (PMS) Energy Monitoring Systems (EMS) Load Management Systems (LMS) such as load shedding and load inhibit Generation Management Systems (GMS) including synchronization panel Micro Grid and Battery Energy Storage Systems ATS / MTS Fault Location, Isolation, and Supply Restoration (FLISR) Costing & Risk Analysis Develop accurate cost estimates for hardware, software, and services. Perform risk assessments and ensure alignment with company approval matrix. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Global Application Centers for technical validation. Liaise with vendors for pricing and resource optimization. Governance Compliance Ensure adherence to CPP/BFO governance and participate in review calls (S1, SOC, RSOC). Customer Engagement Support pre-sales design discussions and respond to technical clarifications. Influence specifications to position Schneider solutions (EBO, PME, DPAC systems). Documentation Maintain accurate tender files, RACI matrix, and approval records Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering for Digital Power systems. Familiarity with governance processes and approval workflows. Strong leadership and team management skills with a regional or multi-country scope. Excellent understanding of tendering processes, governance, and margin management. Ability to train, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in Tendering / estimation of Digital Power Automation Projects. Should have previous experience to network with stakeholders for seamless management of tenders. Key Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of Digital Power systems (EPMS, BMS, SCADA). Expertise in IEC61850 architecture and Modbus protocols.
