The Opportunity:
We have a unique opportunity for a talented BMS Graphics & UI Engineer to join our Digital Energy team. In this role, you will design and deliver high‑quality, intuitive user interfaces that help customers operate their buildings safely, efficiently and with meaningful insight. Your work directly influences customer experience, project accuracy and operational excellence.
You will collaborate closely with project engineers, commissioning teams and end users, translating specifications, drawings and customer requirements into engaging graphical environments across multiple platforms including web, desktop, mobile and touchscreen.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy responsive BMS graphics optimised for multiple device types
- Build interactive UI elements using XML‑based structures, JavaScript behaviours and SVG components
- Translate schematics, design briefs and architectural/mechanical drawings into clear, functional graphics
- Validate point bindings, logic behaviour and accuracy of displays with internal teams
- Produce sample and sign‑off documentation for stakeholder review
- Manage multiple graphic packages simultaneously while ensuring quality and consistency
- Support customer workshops, training and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations
- Maintain and improve standardised graphic libraries, templates and workflows
- Ensure all deliverables meet cybersecurity, performance and design guidelines

You also bring:
- Qualifications in Multimedia Design, Web Design, Software Engineering, Drafting, Architectural Studies or similar
- Minimum 3 years' experience in UI/Graphics development, preferably in technology, engineering or built‑environment industries
- Strong capability in JavaScript, XML‑based markup and vector workflows (SVG/Illustration tools)
- Proficiency in Auto
CAD and Adobe Illustrator:
- Desirable: Exposure to SCADA/BMS systems, TGML/Eco Struxure, HCI/UX principles
- Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, PMs, service teams and end users to deliver accurate and impactful outcomes
