Senior Project Manager – MEA Zone Service Organization

Role Objective: Lead and deliver modernization (retrofit, upgrade, replacement) projects while managing recurring preventive and corrective maintenance contracts. Ensure full lifecycle service performance—including execution excellence, customer satisfaction, financial management, and long-term service growth. Key Responsibilities: Modernization Projects: Manage end-to-end modernization/retrofit projects for electrical distribution, automation, and industrial equipment. Control scope, schedule, cost, risks, and quality using company project processes. Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, site installation, commissioning, and handover. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, HSE standards, and regulations. Lead subcontractors and field service teams; apply change & claim management. Deliver project plans, engineering documentation, mobilization plans, HSE files, and final commissioning reports. Recurring Maintenance Programs: Lead annual maintenance planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and work order management. Deliver preventive and corrective maintenance including emergency interventions. Monitor SLAs, KPIs (uptime, MTTR, MTBF), and ensure service-level compliance. Maintain asset history, CMMS updates, and digital service documentation. Conduct regular service reviews and prepare monthly/quarterly performance reports. Ensure spare parts availability and continuous improvement to reduce downtime. Drive contract renewals and upselling opportunities (modernization, spares, lifecycle services). Combined Lifecycle Responsibilities: Act as long-term partner to customer across modernization and maintenance scopes. Manage communication, escalation, and customer relationships at all levels. Ensure profitability of both project and maintenance portfolios. Support sales and cross-functional teams to identify service and modernization opportunities. Requirements: Engineering degree preferred (Electrical, Industrial, Automation). 5–10 years experience in project management and/or service operations. Proven track record in modernization and maintenance contract management. Fluent in English; travel required. Strong commitment to HSE and regulatory compliance. Skills & Competencies Technical: Expertise in electrical distribution, automation, and industrial equipment lifecycle. Experience in modernization, retrofit, upgrade, and maintenance operations. Strong understanding of CMMS tools and field service workflows. Project & Service Management: Strong project management capabilities (PMP/Prince2 a plus). Financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, margin management. Risk, contract, and subcontractor management proficiency. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing leadership. Ability to manage C-level interactions. High resilience, problem-solving ability, and operational discipline.
