About the Role As a Compliance Engineer within our Fire Systems R&D organization, you will play a central role in ensuring that our products meet all required international standards and certifications.

You will work hands‑on with our development teams and serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for our notified bodies and external certification partners.

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys collaboration across functions, and is motivated by the responsibility of guiding products safely and efficiently through the compliance journey.

Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison with notified bodies, test labs, and regulatory partners.

Lead and coordinate conformity assessment and certification activities for new and existing fire detection and suppression systems.

Support R&D teams with standards interpretation, requirements analysis, and compliance strategies.

Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and certification files.

Ensure compliance with relevant directives, standards, and regulations (e.g., CPR, EN54 series, ISO/UL standards—depending on product scope).

Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and quality processes to embed compliance early in development.

Monitor regulatory changes, emerging standards, and industry trends, and advise the organization accordingly.

Collaborate closely with customer support, product management, quality, and manufacturing to drive cross‑functional alignment.

What You Bring Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Fire Safety, or similar).

Experience: in regulatory compliance, product certification, or testing — preferably safety-critical products.

Strong understanding of standards and conformity assessment processes.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable engineering guidance.

Structured, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple certification streams in parallel.

Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
