Job Summary The Material Productivity Leader will support the Prefab Modular Data Center operations in Hosur by overseeing financial performance tracking, material cost governance, work‑in‑progress (WIP) accuracy, and cost optimization initiatives.

This role acts as a key interface between Operations and Finance, ensuring accurate reporting, cost visibility, financial discipline, and continuous improvement in material productivity.

The position directly contributes to operational profitability and budget adherence across projects and factory operations. \ Key Responsibilities Financial Closing & Reporting Support monthly financial closing activities for the Prefab operations.

Validate material consumption, manufacturing variances, scrap, and inventory adjustments.

Ensure accurate cost posting and alignment between ERP transactional data and financial reporting.

Cost & Variance Analysis Analyze material costs, BOM deviations, project margins, and operational variances.

Identify key cost drivers and support corrective action plans with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations.

Prepare detailed cost reports and dashboards for factory leadership.

Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) Management Lead WIP declaration in ERP (Oracle/SAP) and ensure accurate project‑wise cost capture.

Prepare WIP status reports for Finance and Operations teams.

Resolve mismatches, misallocations, and data inconsistencies in WIP records. ERP-Finance Reconciliation Reconcile ERP (Oracle/SAP) transactions with Finance-led reporting.

Ensure PO, WO, inventory, and production booking correctness.

Address discrepancies through cross-functional coordination with Supply Chain and Finance.

Budgeting, Forecasting & KPIs Support Operations Leader in preparing budget, forecasts, and deviation analysis.

Track key operational KPIs: Material productivity Inventory turns Cost-to-produce Variance trends Highlight gaps and improvement opportunities.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls Strengthen internal controls on material consumption, inventory accuracy, and project costing.

Support audits, documentation, and compliance activities.

Contribute to the standardization and automation of reporting and productivity tools.

Business Partnership Act as a financial partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Project Teams.

Provide insights that support decision-making and operational improvements.

Support productivity initiatives and cost-out programs in collaboration with global and regional teams.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. 6+ years of experience in finance, plant controlling, cost analysis, or manufacturing project finance.

Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to deep-dive into cost structures and data discrepancies.
