A SYSTEM ENGINEER is an expert in: Facilities for data Center and Mission critical facilities High availability topologies for power and cooling data center systems Technical cooling for IT applications (DX, CW , liquid cooling ) Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation system Domain and interpretation Cooling evaluation and diagnostic White space rack distribution for telecommunications and data centers systems Access floor solutions Data center Infrastructure Manager Data center standards (TIA 942, UPTIME, ICREA) Main responsibilities: Design, configure, recommend and support offers as a Data Center's consultant. Give technical support to Secure's Power (SP) sales people and SP's partners Specify, quote and defend Schneider's offer in L2/L3 projects Know market share. Identify SE's brands strenghts and competitors' weaknesses Technical Speaker for data centers product's presentations, MKT events and trainings for DC and critical facilities market Have a broad knowledge of Schneider Electric Data Center Science Center's White papers and trade off tools Develops the product/solutions based strategy and plan collaboratively with key business partners. Develops the product/solution launch strategy and plan collaboratively with key business partners Responsible for sales and market share growth of the offer. Accountable for implementing the actions around life cycle management. Knowledge: Data centers' infrastructure solutions and international standards Cooling & Power Systems for IT applications Telecommunications and data centers systems Data Center's Infrastructure Manager software Building Management Systems software Education and experience Electromechanical / Mechanical / Control Engineer bachelor's degree 3-5 years of experience in cooling Data centers and critical facilities markets Professional competencies High capacity to dentify, propouse and optimize data centers infraestructure facilities High capacity to learn and apply technical terms Teach/transmit technical knowledge, adapted to technical level (basic - advance) of the audience Patience, Stress management and frustration tolerance Flexibility to find posible solutions to technical challengers Teamwork collaboration and communications skills Take Risks and Innovate Influence & Convince Personal competencies Communication skills, both oral and written, ability to communicate with all levels of the organization Strong listening and presentation skills; tailoring the approach according to customer needs.
