We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fullstack Developer to join our Fire R&D SW development team.
We are seeking a talented ‘hands on’ engineer to join our development department in Lund.
You will be responsible for creating applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support in our Fire Expert platform.
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects.
You should be a team player and a good communicator.
You will ensure best practices are followed while being responsive in a dynamic and iterative Agile development setting.
Responsibilities Participate in requirements analysis Design, build, and maintain efficient, secure, reusable and reliable code Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization Required skills and experiences Good understanding of Web technologies, Single page applications, security requirements, multi-tenant Saas applications.
Backend development in .NET/C# with ASP.Net Core, Front end development in Typescript/Javascript with ReactJS Test driven development, with integration test, unit tests and end-to-end tests.
Database: SQL server, Entity framework, No-SQL Databases.
Tools: Git, VS Code, Visual studio.
Familiar with Test Driven Development, continuous integration, and agile software best practices A strong team player who is eager to learn and grow.
Ready to be part of agile team where everyone participates in the Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
Full stack developer: Members of our team contributes to all parts of the system – both infrastructure, backend and frontend.
An advantage is if you also have experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep or Terraform, DevOps automation workflows.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering Good verbal and written English communication skills.

The Fire Expert squad is part of the Fire R&D team, a cross-functional league working together to drive and develop sophisticated digital building management solutions targeting Fire system users, within the Digital Buildings at Schneider Electric, based in Lund.
What we do: At the Lund R&D center we develop digitalized solutions to building management which ultimately minimizes climate impact, saves money, and time.
Our state-of-the-art Building Management System platform provides foundational technology to enable the digitization of a range of solutions that allows customers manage Buildings in a better way.
As a critical part of this building ecosystem we also provide solutions for fire detection and monitoring of fire detection systems installations.
