Location: Kallang Mission (About the Role) Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and drive a Transformational Procurement program in East Asia.
This includes Upstream Resilience, Material Productivity, Supplier Development Programs and Plant Procurement Transformation.
What will you do?
Drive a procurement transversal project (e.g Upstream Resilience, Material Productivity Initiatives) and ensure timelines, deliverables, budget, quality, critical activities and other important KPI are within expectations and forecast.
Integrates risk management, statistical methods, and advanced financial tools to improve project and organizational performance.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Business Unit Partners and GSC Manufacturing region to drive and to deliver the projects deliverables and deadlines.
Perform risk assessment and management of the given transversal procurement projects to identify and minimize issues in project execution, leading discussions and tracking of action plans with proper individuals.
Lead and facilitate productivity workshops with suppliers, with close collaboration with regional/ plant procurement team and regional/plant cross functional team to build up year by year productivity pipeline (Cost Of Goods Sold/Quality and Value Engineering/Continuous Improvement Initiatives) Establish strong network with global/region/entity wise key stakeholders and lead executive presentations with senior leadership and business unit teams Directs the planning, implementation and monitoring of activities ensuring deliverables completion, compliance and performance success bringing value to customers and the company.
Drive Supplier Co-Development Project (Quality- Supply Chain- CI Kaizen) with close collaboration with regional/entity cross functional team and leaders.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Minimum 10 years of procurement management with solid procurement / sourcing experience in similar industry such as Electronics or Electrical, Automotive or Medical Equipment.
Self-driven, dynamic individual that possesses great leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure, handling ambiguity and resolving conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment Team player and strong in facilitating cross functional collaboration Strong networking with ability to influence and execute change management Preferably with PMP or Scrum Certification with 3 years exposure to project management Six Sigma methodology Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
