Product Marketing Manager
About the role: The Secure Power Division is a core business of Schneider Electric, delivering high reliability and sustainability to IT infrastructure from cloud to edge through UPS, rack, and cooling systems. As AI-ready data centers and distributed IT environments evolve rapidly, the division accelerates the development of next-generation infrastructure. This position will lead business development for single-phase UPS and rack product portfolios in the Japanese market, driving product strategy and market execution. Special focus will be placed on expanding solutions tailored to AI-ready data centers and edge environments. What will you do? Product Management Manage the full lifecycle of single-phase UPS and rack products (planning, development, sales, support) Develop strategies for launching products suited to AI-ready DCs and edge environments Conduct market research and competitive analysis to optimize product positioning Collaborate with global development teams to localize specifications for the Japanese market Business Development Identify and develop new markets and customer segments in AI, HPC, and distributed IT Build strategic alliances with partner companies Analyze customer needs and market trends to support new product introductions Promote product value with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency Marketing Optimize product positioning, pricing strategy, and distribution channels Plan and execute promotional activities (especially for AI DC and edge solutions) Support market expansion in collaboration with sales teams Develop initiatives to enhance brand awareness Who will you report to? Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or MOT preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry (preferably with UPS or rack systems) Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking Experience negotiating specifications and requirements with global teams for Japanese market launches Basic understanding and interest in AI DC and edge environments Strong grasp of the 4Ps of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, Place) Practical experience in product positioning, pricing models, and competitive analysis Excellent presentation skills Strong business communication skills in both Japanese and English (verbal and written) Let us learn about you!
