About the role

The Business Analyst – Developer Experience will work closely with engineering teams and Dev Ex Application Owners to improve developer productivity, code quality, and security through modern Dev Ex platforms and AI-assisted tools. This role focuses on requirements gathering, workflow optimization, and practical adoption of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, ensuring measurable value and responsible usage across the SDLC. The Business Analyst for Developer Experience Tools will play a critical role in understanding developer workflows, capturing end-user requirements, and partnering closely with Application Owners within the Dev Ex team to enhance and optimize tools such as GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Jira, Sonar Qube, Cycode, SQUoRE, and Agile collaboration platforms. This role ensures that Dev Ex solutions are user-centric, scalable, compliant, and aligned with the productivity and quality needs of engineering teams across the organization. What will you do: Assisting Stakeholders, Software & Firmware Teams, being a liaison with the rest of Developer Experience team. Partner with developers, tech leads, and QA to identify workflow gaps and productivity bottlenecks. Capture and prioritize requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Identify opportunities for AI-assisted development, automation, and insight generation. What will make you successful: Work closely with owners of GitHub, Jira, JFrog, Sonar Qube, Cycode, SQUoRE, and Agile tools. Act as the functional SME for the Dev Ex toolchain, including: GitHub Enterprise: repos, branching models, PR workflows, Actions, Advanced Security JFrog Artifactory/Xray: repository models, artifact lifecycle, scanning workflows Jira & Agile Tools: issue types, workflows, boards, reporting, automation Sonar Qube: quality gates, code quality metrics, scanning pipelines Cycode: security scanning, posture management, compliance frameworks SQUoRE: code analytics, technical debt insights, scorecard definitions Support teams with adoption, onboarding, training, and day-to-day usage guidance. Translate developer needs into configuration, workflow, and roadmap recommendations.
