What will you do: This position is for GIGA Labs management position, part of I&T, EMCTO, leading a team of approximately 30+ employees.

The team specializes in Prototyping, Electrical, Mechanical, Safety, Environmental, EMC verification testing at our labs at Bangalore.

The team is responsible for V&V certification testing, surveillance testing ensuring that all Schneider Electric products offered to market meet all regulatory requirements and are of the highest quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of ~60 employees Ensure efficient lab operations, safety compliance, and work prioritization.

Collaborate with project test leaders to build a future-ready R&D roadmap.

Maintain high standards of quality and manage accreditations (UL, SEMKO, DEKRA, NABL, BIS).

Connect with global labs to elevate capabilities and share best practices.

Drive sustainability initiatives towards a Net Zero Lab.

Strategize team competencies and infrastructure aligned with Schneider Electric’s focus.

Partner with cross-functional teams: design, offer marketing, manufacturing, and standardization.

Champion 5S, Kaizen, productivity, and automation initiatives.

Lead the digital transformation of lab operations and testing.

Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

Ensure safe and compliant lab operations at all times.
