Manager - End to End Commercial
The Customer Project Manager – Technical Execution & Tendering is responsible for managing the technical scope, planning, and documentation of customer projects from tendering to execution phases. This role ensures seamless coordination between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, driving project performance through effective planning, KPI monitoring, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Establish and maintain the time and information exchange flow with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables aligned with customer and business expectations. Provide Planning KPIs and performance dashboards for Steering Committees and Project Review meetings. Coordinate across global and cross-functional project stakeholders to ensure on-time and quality project delivery. Customer Project Execution Manage technical execution of customer projects, from small package projects to large and complex multi-site projects. Lead functionally the technical project team (>10 people), ensuring clear delegation, control, and accountability. Ensure that the technical solution delivered meets customer requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations. Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and change management across the technical scope. Documentation Management Drive end-to-end project documentation deliverables, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with customer and company standards. Ensure timely submission of technical documents, design drawings, test reports, and as-built documentation. Maintain traceability of document revisions and customer approvals. Technical Tendering & Opportunity Management Participate in pre-contract (tendering) phase to capture customer needs and define optimized technical scope of proposals. Support Opportunity Leaders and Tendering Teams in bid preparation, risk assessment, and solution optimization. Analyze RFQs (Request for Quotation) of varying complexity—ranging from single-technology to multi-technology or consortium-based tenders. Contribute to technical reviews and align proposed solutions with business strategy and profitability targets. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 6–15 years of experience in Customer Project Management, Technical Execution, or Tendering roles within the Energy, Automation, or Infrastructure domains. Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site, or consortium projects. Strong understanding of project lifecycle management (initiation to closure) and contract management principles. Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project) and document control systems. Skills & Competencies: Project Management Expertise: Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. Technical Acumen: Knowledge of electrical distribution, automation, and control systems. Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate across customers, suppliers, and internal functions. Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional or multicultural teams. Communication & Reporting: Strong presentation, documentation, and KPI reporting skills. Analytical & Problem Solving: Capable of risk analysis and solution-oriented decision-making. Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time delivery of project milestones and documentation. Customer satisfaction and feedback score. Accuracy and timeliness of Planning KPI reporting. Technical quality and compliance of deliverables. Tender-to-order conversion ratio (for tendering scope).
