As a Product Application Expert – EDN, you will act as a technology ambassador for Schneider Electric’s Electrical Distribution portfolio.
This role plays a critical part in driving the adoption and success of digital technologies, connected products, and energy management solutions, while closely supporting sales teams and customers across the region.
You will bridge customer needs with the right technical solutions, enabling profitable growth and market leadership.
What Will You Do Act as a technology ambassador for Schneider Electric’s Electrical Distribution and Digital offers.
Drive the adoption and success of digital technologies, digital tools, and platforms.
Support sales teams in customer conversion and opportunity closure through strong technical engagement.
Understand customer needs, specifications, and applications, and propose optimized technical solutions.
Provide pre‑sales and application support for products and integrated solutions.
Conceive, plan, and organize promotional activities, technology events, and customer engagements.
Drive and position technological evolution with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Contribute to profitable growth of assigned offers within the region.
What Will Make You Successful Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).
Experience: 4–8 years of relevant experience in electrical distribution, applications, pre‑sales, or technical marketing.
Market & Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of customer segments such as Panel Builders (PB), OEMs, and Contractors.
In‑depth knowledge of MV & LV Electrical Power Distribution Networks and design philosophies.
Exposure to connected products and energy management software.
Technical Expertise:
Power Distribution products: VCB, ACB, MCCB, switching & controlling devices, transfer switches, fuse disconnectors, along with relevant standards and digital applications.
Power Management solutions: Energy meters, PFC components, Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs). LV panels and their applications.
Exposure to Discrete and Process Automation solutions (added advantage).
Functional Competencies: Strong passion for digital technologies and innovation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Behavioral Competencies: Strong customer focus and solution mindset.
High adaptability in a fast‑changing technology environment.
Ability to foster cooperation and work effectively across functions. BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute.
