We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Advisor specializing in cloud and software solutions to join our dynamic Commercial Buildings team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing robust cybersecurity strategies to safeguard our building solutions.
This position combines strategic planning, technical expertise, and advisory responsibilities, working closely with R&D and cross‑functional teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
What you’ll work on You will contribute to shaping secure connected building solutions by addressing cybersecurity challenges across cloud, software, and IoT environments.
The role focuses on proactive risk management, secure architecture design, and continuous improvement of security practices.
Cybersecurity is treated as an integral part of how solutions are designed, developed, deployed, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Cybersecurity Planning Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security measures into the entire product lifecycle.
Risk Management Conduct thorough risk assessments related to connected product deployments.
Identify potential vulnerabilities and implement proactive mitigation measures.
Security Architecture Design and implement secure architectures considering data integrity, confidentiality, and availability requirements.
Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies to enhance security posture.
Threat Modeling & Governance Perform threat modeling activities.
Ensure implementation of cybersecurity policies and conduct regular reviews to uphold solution security posture.
Security Awareness & Training Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for internal teams involved in connected offer development, deployment, and maintenance.
Foster a culture of security awareness and compliance across the organization.
Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address security requirements related to commercial building solutions.
Communicate complex security concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
Security Tooling & Automation Collaborate with R&D teams to automate security processes in build and release pipelines.
Required Skills Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on IoT solutions and connected offers In‑depth knowledge of IoT technologies, protocols, and architectures Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related to IoT security
Experience: with security tools such as Black Duck, Sonar Qube, and Qualys
Experience: automating security tools in build and release pipelines Azure security experience Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related IT/Engineering field Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or IoT‑specific certifications are highly desirable Why this role matters This role contributes directly to securing connected building solutions used in commercial environments.
