About the role
This role focuses on driving sales growth and increasing market share in the Power & Grid segment. The candidate will handle end-to-end sales activities, from generating inquiries to closing deals and ensuring project execution and payment collection. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Generate new enquiries and identify customer requirements Develop and grow business within Utilities, Electro-Intensive Industries, and EPCs Achieve order booking, sales, and revenue targets Increase market share within the assigned region 2. Customer Engagement Understand customer needs and propose suitable technical solutions Deliver presentations to ensure product specifications are aligned in tenders Build long-term relationships and act as a trusted partner Manage key accounts and drive repeat business 3. Tendering & Proposal Management Analyze enquiries and identify technical & commercial requirements Coordinate with internal teams to prepare techno-commercial offers Submit proposals and manage approvals Participate in negotiations and finalize deals 4. Project Execution & Coordination Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and installation Track project progress and meet customer expectations Handle documentation like bank guarantees Coordinate internally and with customers for smooth execution 5. Collections & Financials Follow up for payments and ensure collections within targets Monitor outstanding dues 6. Strategy & Market Development Develop account strategies to maximize business share Identify and onboard new customers Organize sales promotions and engagement events Product & Domain Focus Energy Automation Products & Solutions Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear (AIS & GIS) Transformers Relay Protection Systems Power Distribution & Transmission Systems Key Skills Required Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems & automation Ability to influence, negotiate, and close deals Experience in Key Account Management Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to position as a solution provider rather than just a seller BE/BTech in Electrical / Electronics / IT / Software Engineering Diploma in Electrical Engineering also acceptable MBA (Sales/Operations) – preferred Ideal Candidate Profile Strong technical + sales hybrid profile Experience with Utilities, EPCs, or heavy industries Skilled in solution selling and customer engagement Target-driven and capable of handling complex sales cycles Let us learn about you!
