We are looking for service respresentative to join our team in Qatar. The Services Representative will handle start-up/commissioning, preventive maintenance, and unscheduled maintenance on Schneider Electric UPS systems, this role includes data center assembly services, power audits, and educating customers on their equipment. The Service Representative will work with team members on custom and large installation projects, The position requires technical knowledge, the ability to work independently, and compliance with safety policies. The role demands 24/7 field service availability when assigned. Key Responsibilities: Must comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Perform start‑up/commissioning, preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations on Schneider Electric UPS systems (single and multi‑module). Perform data center assembly services for Schneider Electric containment systems. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of complex technical issues using specialized tools and equipment to ensure optimal equipment performance. Perform power audits of customer distribution systems. Collaborate with internal teams, service partners, and sales teams to support site visits and deliver installation projects efficiently. Provide technical support, training, and guidance to customers on UPS operation, including educating customers on basic equipment operation and potential issues. Properly document, label, and return defective parts used in repairs to designate disposal or repair locations. Support continuous improvement by actively participating in team activities aligned with company objectives. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs. Read, analyse, and interpret business procedures, technical documents, professional reports, and governmental regulations. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Demonstrate proficiency in personal computer applications, including email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and related tools. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various technical levels. Participate in 24/7 field service availability and rotational standby duty, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Stay up to date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical and UPS maintenance, repair, and installation. Safety mindset Strong knowledge of UPS systems, power quality equipment and electrical distribution systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Very good knowledge of MS Office and being computer literate. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
