For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $148,000.00-$222,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits. The Schneider Electric North America Strategic Customers team is a dynamic sales force within Schneider Electric, energizing the company’s most critical Customers toward innovation, digitization, and sustainability in the new energy landscape. The position will be responsible for new customer acquisition from a large pool of named accounts for the State & Local Government and Education (SLED) segment across the State of California and can be based in either Nor Cal or So Cal. The ideal candidate possesses a hunter mentality and a proven ability to penetrate, quickly qualify, and effectively manage a wide range of Schneider Electric solutions across a diverse customer portfolio. Account Executives must be able to ruthlessly prioritize their focus and operate at scale. The selected candidate will map Schneider Electric’s full portfolio to customer’s needs and work horizontally across the entire Schneider Electric organization to deliver products, software and services that represent the most compelling and differentiated offers for the assigned accounts. Where appropriate, the selected candidate will also develop trusted relationships with senior public sector executives. The ideal candidate should be able to autonomously navigate the SLED business landscape. Specifically, the candidate should understand the public sector procurement process, including how to research, analyze, and influence solicitations, how to align their sales activities to the customers’ legislative and budget cycles, how to build champions among elected and appointed executives and operational leaders, and how to position Schneider Electric solutions throughout the value chain of consultants, integrators, and channel partners.
