Context & purpose Within the Global Export Control Center of Excellence, you operationalize Schneider Electric’s EC&S program in Europe — training, stakeholder engagement, regulatory monitoring and compliance — to secure operations while enabling business.

Reporting line Reports to the EU Director Export Control & International Sanctions, within the Global Export Control Center of Excellence (CoE).

Your role Lead and advise on EC&S matters across the region: program governance, escalations and controls, risk and licensing management, authorities liaison and site/project support — acting as the regional focal point and network orchestrator.

Your key responsibilities Program & governance Implement the global EC&S program regionally as CoE member and EC&S point of contact Run 4W reviews, manage regional escalations and provide risk‑based guidance on transactions Ensure compliance with applicable EC&S laws/regulations and SE EC Policy/Directives/Procedures; identify and close gaps Act as point of contact with EC&S government agencies/authorities; report any non‑compliance to the CoE Controls, audits & supply chain security Support and lead reviews/audits at sites; contribute to management reports and improvement plans Drive annual KICs (e.g., EC CE.13) and act as EC&S contact for Supply Chain Security programs (C‑TPAT, AEO) Licensing, classification & transfers Advise on required licenses, agreements, shipping docs and related documentation Support license preparation/submission and implementation of Technology Control Plans and procedures Training, comms & network Train personnel at all levels; communicate regulatory updates and process impacts Work with site management and export control SPOCs to continuously improve systems, policies and procedures Support internal EC&S investigations in‑region; contribute to cross‑functional projects (M&A, classification, etc.) Your profile Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus 8–10 years of detailed EU/international EC&S experience (classification, licensing, reporting, program build/run)

Experience: in a multinational; ability to lead and be a team player Excellent written/oral communication; proficiency with MS Office Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic/international) C2 French Level.

Legal Requirement Related to the Position As part of this role, certain responsibilities require obtaining or holding specific administrative authorizations issued by the French government (including, but not limited to, governmental licensing procedures, export control regulations, and access to regulated information).

In accordance with these regulatory requirements, only individuals holding French citizenship are legally eligible to obtain the mandatory authorizations.

This criterion is not an internal selection preference, but a mandatory legal condition for performing the essential duties associated with the position.
