What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP i Xp Intern – Software Developer (Audit Log Service)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Expected start date: March/April 2026 (6 months)

You will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including:

• Development platforms: K8S, Cloud Foundry, BOSH

• IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

• Programming languages: Java, Go, Python, Node.js, Bash script

• Engineering concepts: OOP, REST Dependency injection, Secure communication, Unit Tests

• Ways of working: DevOps, Scrum

• Frameworks, services, and systems: Spring, Terraform, Redis, Postgre, Liquibase, Kafka, Object Store, Fluent Bit etc.

• Ways of working: DevOps, Scrum

You will be part of a large, international team of architects, security experts, and experienced developers working in a dynamic and evolving environment.

The Audit Log Service is designed for easy support and maintenance and plays a critical role in ensuring SAP and its customers deliver auditable and compliant software solutions. The service supports security, data protection, and legal requirements, enabling auditors to perform audit-related activities in an efficient, reliable, and complete manner.

What You’ll Bring

• Active university student status

• Good knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Java, Go, or Bash)

• Fast learner with an open mindset

• Passion for developing skills and solving technical challenges

• Basic software engineering knowledge

• English fluency is required; Bulgarian is a plus
