What you’ll build
The Solution Sales Expert (f/m/d) combines deep SAP expertise, business acumen, and end-to-end solution knowledge to drive LoB cloud revenue, customer success, and adoption of innovation (especially AI), advancing both LoB priorities and the “One SAP” strategy.
Key responsibilities

Account ownership & strategy: Own LoB strategy for assigned accounts; build and execute plans aligned to customer goals and broader account plans.

Pipeline & opportunity management: Identify and grow opportunities within existing accounts to meet pipeline and revenue targets.

Product success & innovation: Lead GTM for new solutions; engage early with customers; validate use cases; influence roadmap; drive AI initiatives (e.g., BDC, Knowledge Graphs, scalable Po Cs, Joule agents).

Enablement, demos & prototypes: Ensure demo readiness and run enablement programs; support rapid prototyping.

Value proposition & executive engagement: Partner with value advisors to create clear ROI narratives and competitive differentiation; engage C‑suite.

Commercial negotiations: Handle complex pricing and contract discussions to balance client outcomes and cloud growth.

Adoption, consumption & success: Collaborate with CS/CS&D and CSMs to ensure delivery, monitor outcomes, secure references, manage escalations, and drive renewals and expansion.

Relationship governance: Drive C-suite engagements and Buying Center Alignment by fostering long-term high-value relationships. Lead QBRs focused on adoption, innovation, risks, and opportunities.

Ecosystem & partners: Own strategic partner relationships to co‑innovate, build joint GTM, and shape disruptive solutions.

Collaboration & orchestration: Align with Sales, Product, and Marketing to integrate impact and tailor GTM approach.
What you bring

Extensive professional experience in a quota‑carrying role; Several years in the relevant solution portfolio.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.

Proven executive relationship skills with C‑suite influence.

B2B enterprise SaaS experience with multi‑stakeholder cycles and deep industry expertise.

Track record in account management/solution sales, expansion selling, and value‑based methodologies.

Deep SAP/domain expertise and strong understanding of AI and innovation trends.

Strategic thinking, business acumen, relationship building, client advocacy; excellent communication and negotiation.

Fluent German and English.
