What You’ll Build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: HR Services Consultant Local HR Services
Location: Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, USA
Expected start date to end date: May 2026

Project scope and deliverables – What will the intern be working on, and what outcomes are expected? A wide variety of activities such as Short Term and Long Term Disability, Benefits Administration. Onboarding and Offboarding employees as well as other HR-related tasks.

Business impact – How will this work create meaningful value for the business (beyond supplemental tasks like data entry or admin work)? The People & Culture Local Services (PCLS) specialists will be engaged in a project affecting the United States HR backend operations, and this intern will help with daily tasks to compensate for the temporary absence of the local expert.

Team environment and collaboration – Who will the intern work with, and what type of support or mentorship will they receive? They will work with two local PCLS Colleagues that sit it the same location as the intern

Learning opportunities – What skills, tools, or knowledge will the intern gain from this experience? The backend workings of a highly successful Fortune 500 HR Department

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $15-62 (USD). The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
