What you'll build

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations within the SAP Distributed Energy Resources (DER) team, contributing to the ongoing initiatives in the team

  • Assist with administrative tasks including preparing meeting minutes, drafting, and formatting documents, and supporting the management of smaller projects and action item tracking

  • Conduct market analysis and research, competitive assessments, and market opportunity identification in the energy transition space

  • Help evaluate potential technology partners by mapping capabilities, assessing strategic fit

  • Support the preparation and delivery of solution demos for internal and external audiences, including industry events and partner showcases

  • Actively contribute to setting up the SAP DER solution in customer Po Cs and Pilots

  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market materials and assist in coordinating internal and external working groups across the DER ecosystem

  • Support in the DER Opportunity & Pipeline Management and Monitoring

  • Ensure that partner and SAP opportunities are on track (pipeline updates, status follow up, prioritization)

  • Contribute to the creation of AI Agents for Utilities, taking advantage of the SAP Technology

  • Support to monitor and follow up on ongoing opportunities, both internal and partner driven

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences

  • Preferred fields of study: Business / Engineering

  • Language skills: Fluent in English; German is a plus

  • Soft skills: Team player, good organizational skills, autonomous, proactive, technology geek, interested in the Utilities Industry

  • Working part time from the Walldorf office is required

Where you belong

Industry Business Unit Utilities is a global team responsible for the Go-to-Market activities of the SAP for Utilities portfolio.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
