Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cash Collections Specialist to join our Strategic Finance team. You will be instrumental in maximizing cash flow by managing collections activities across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) part of the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) regions. This role combines analytical skills with customer relationship management in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Collections Strategy: Develop and execute collection plans for high-value or past-due accounts
  • Customer Communication: Liaise professionally with clients across multiple time zones to resolve payment issues
  • Reporting & Analysis: Support in cash flow forecasts, and collections metrics
  • Payment Processing: Record and reconcile payments received; coordinate with accounting teams
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, billing disputes, and payment obstacles
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline collections workflows and enhance efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Experience of collections or accounts receivable
  • Strong knowledge of AR processes and collections best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with MENA and/or EMEA markets is a strong advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Arabic and other regional languages
  • Experience with ERP/ISP collections software and automated systems
