What you'll build
The Solution Sales Executive (SSE)(f/m/d) builds trust and manages strategic executive relationship with customers’ buying center CXOs to address customers’ business challenges. This **quota carrying **resource drives demand for the LoB solutions using GTM strategy through direct customer engagements and accelerates deal velocity through transformative sales motions.**SAP Business Data Cloud **(BDC) is a SaaS solution that unifies and governs all SAP data while seamlessly connecting with third-party data, enabling business leaders to make impactful and data-driven decisions.
You will bring in deep industry domain and process expertise to provide strong PoV. While positioning the value through solutions, you translate end state vision with use cases and prototypes to achieve cloud revenue growth through bookings, retention and expansion. On top, you ensure ongoing success to realize sustainable customer lifetime value coupled with AI and Innovation.
Demand Generation and Opportunity Management: Drive demand, manage pipelines, and close deals by creating compelling solution value propositions and identifying growth opportunities through White Space analysis.
Customer Engagement and Relationships: Manage customer relationships at the solution area level, supporting sales campaigns, adoption strategies, and consumption expansion efforts.
Cloud and Solution Expansion: Progress opportunities to move accounts to the cloud or expand solution footprints for new and existing customers.
Cross-Team and Partner Collaboration: Leverage SAP’s experts, industry insights, and partner ecosystem to address customer needs and support account success.
Community and Market Insights: Encourage customer participation in SAP programs and communities while maintaining knowledge of SAP’s competition, industry trends, and business drivers.
What you bring
Cloud Software Sales Expertise: Several years of experience in cloud software sales with consistent overachievement of quotas, including managing large transactions and complex sales pursuits.
Extensive Sales and Solution Knowledge: Some years of experience selling business software/IT solutions, along with a broad understanding of the SAP solution portfolio, BDC innovations, and the business processes they enable.
Contractual and Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated expertise in contractual and negotiation processes, especially for subscription- or perpetual license-based solutions, driving renewals, expansions, and up-sells.
Financial and Market Analysis: Solid knowledge of financial, competitive, and regulatory environments to inform strategic decision-making.
Communication and Executive Presence: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence in customer engagements.
Results-Driven and Strategic Thinker: Strategic mindset combined with creativity, innovation, and a results-driven approach, ensuring business and commercial success.
Language Proficiency: Full working proficiency in German and Business English.
