What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP i Xp Intern -Strategy, Research and Financial Analysis

Location: Hybrid

  • Newtown Square (3 days on site)

Expected start date to end date: June 2026 – September 2026

Working hours: Full time 40 hrs./week

We're looking for a sharp, curious early-career professional to join our team during a pivotal transformation period. This internship offers a rare chance to shape how our organization operates by bringing fresh ideas, conducting strategic analysis, and helping drive AI adoption across our portfolio. You'll work alongside senior leaders on initiatives that directly impact our business model, efficiency, and innovation capacity, and your contributions will be immediately visible and valued.

In this role, you will:

Conduct competitive and market research to identify emerging trends, benchmarks, and best practices relevant to our programs and industry landscape

Analyze current strategy and programs to pinpoint gaps, outdated assumptions, and opportunities for modernization

Support with collecting, reporting and analyzing program output (incl. financial assessment) to measure program impact to key stakeholders

Research and synthesize insights, determine ROI for current programs to inform strategic recommendations

Support the SAP Next Gen team on the strategic workforce management long term planning, including financials

Stay current on AI trends and present emerging opportunities to the team through briefings and recommendations

Create dashboards, presentations, and working documents that track progress on this initiative

Coordinate cross-functional planning meetings and distill outputs into clear action items and next steps

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Education: currently pursuing a business related degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics degree preferred

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

A curious and agile mindset, with a passion for learning and the resilience to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness that support inclusive teamwork and thoughtful stakeholder engagement. A growing foundation in business acumen and emerging technologies - especially artificial intelligence - paired with a results-oriented approach and the courage to take initiative

Graduation within the next 2 years

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Curiosity about business strategy, technology trends, and organizational dynamics

Financial planning experience

Understanding of ROI calculation and financial analysis

Ability to manage ambiguity and work independently on structured projects

Interest in AI, digital transformation, or organizational strategy

Knowledge of AI concepts and application

AI prompting

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort with data visualization

Basic data analysis

Experience with strategic planning frameworks or consulting methodologies

Experience conducting interviews or stakeholder research

Hands-on mentality and capable of working independently, proactively and in an interdisciplinary team

Language skills: English proficiency required

The targeted combined range for this position is 0 - 0(USD) USD.
