• Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Montreal, QC hybrid position, 3 days per week working from the office

Expected Start Date: May or June 2026

Contract Duration: 6 months – Full Time

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Are you passionate about coding, automation, and building high-quality software? Join our team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Intern and gain hands-on

experience shaping the reliability and performance of modern applications. This isn’t a “watch and learn” internship: you’ll take ownership, work on real systems, and

help deliver exceptional user experiences.

As part of a collaborative scrum team, you’ll contribute directly to quality engineering and automation:

• Help design and execute modern testing strategies for complex systems

• Create and maintain test coverage for your team’s features

• Develop and run test plans, including functional, performance, and security testing

• Build and enhance automated test suites to improve speed and reliability

• Investigate bugs, troubleshoot issues, and support root-cause analysis

• Work closely with developers and QA teammates to improve test frameworks

• Contribute ideas to continuously improve testing processes and tools

• Participate in agile ceremonies and team collaboration

Work on real products with real impact from day one

• Learn modern test automation tools and best practices

What You’ll bring:

A curious and agile mindset, with a passion for learning and the resilience to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and effectively. A growing foundation in business acumen and emerging technologies—especially artificial intelligence—paired with a results-oriented approach and the courage to take initiative.

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong foundation in programming

• Java, JavaScript, or similar Exposure to tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Gherkin is a plus

• Familiarity with concepts like Clean Code, DRY, KISS is a plus

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn quickly

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment

We aim to innovate the SCM product portfolio through an Integrated Business Planning cloud product that integrates with our established ERP business suite S/4HANA. SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan based on prioritized and categorized demand, such as orders and forecasts.
