What you’ll do:

• Develop, implement, and manage the IT Grundschutz based information management system in line with BSI standards.

• Establish and support strategies and initiatives to comply with Grundschutz standards and address emerging threats.

• Support internal audits and compliance assessments, preparing reports and documentation for internal & external audits.

• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to various teams & stakeholders, promoting knowledge-sharing and skills growth.

• Conduct and orchestrate comprehensive risk assessments and develop response strategies to protect cloud-based systems.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of security standards.

• Establish and manage compliance policies and procedures to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee compliance security incidents and coordinate effective response strategies.

• Support and drive the continuous improvement process

What you bring:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.

• Deep understanding of IT processes, and their contractual, regulatory, and legal significance, such as EUDP, GDPR and SOX.

• Extensive experience with standards such as SOC 1 & 2, ISO 27001, BSI C5, PCI DSS, NIST SP 800 and BSI IT-Grundschutz.

• Minimum of 10 years experience in IT security & compliance environments.

• Proven track record in managing IT security systems within cloud environments.

• Excellent leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant certifications such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
