Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Specialist to join our global commercial finance team. In this role, you will support the deal structuring process, ensuring compliance with our commercial policies and drafting contracts aligned with approved terms. You will work closely with the sales team, Commercial Finance Manager, CFO, and various internal stakeholders to drive financial performance and maintain the integrity of our business agreements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to improve company policies and propose automation ideas for smoother deal support and contract creation processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Deal Structuring & Approval process:
-
Collaborate with the sales team to guide deal structuring.
-
Evaluate and analyze potential deals, considering revenue, costs, and compliance.
-
Initiate ideas for improving policies and automating processes.
-
Facilitate the full deal approval process, ensuring stakeholder engagement.
-
Verify all deals for compliance with financial, legal, and revenue recognition (IFRS 15) standards.

Contract Drafting:
-
Draft and review commercial contracts to ensure terms align with deal approvals.
-
Incorporate commercial clauses and other relevant provisions into contracts, ensuring clarity and alignment with company objectives

Work with legal teams to address and mitigate all contract-related issues.

Pricing and Deals Desk:
-
Support account teams with pricing and deal structuring guidance.
-
Update resources to inform sales teams about commercial terms.
-
Stakeholder Collaboration:
-
Liaise between sales, finance, legal, and other departments to streamline deals.
-
Maintain open and clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding throughout the deal lifecycle.

Provide training and guidance to sales and other teams on financial and compliance-related aspects of deal structuring and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, law, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.

Experience: 3+ years in a commercial finance role; basic understanding of IFRS 15 is advantageous.
