What you´ll build

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation, ensure reliability, and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Ops workflows.

• Lead containerization initiatives and deploy applications across Kubernetes environments managed via Gardener.

• Manage microservices deployments for various SAP Success Factors services in Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Kustomize.

• Develop and enhance Helm charts for multiple Success Factors products.

• Automate operational workflows using Python and Shell scripting.

• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the containerized landscape.

• Adhere to ITIL-based change management processes to ensure controlled and compliant deployments.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems and services.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance deployment reliability and speed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure automation.

• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.

• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell for automation.

Expertise in Chef & Ansible:

• Hands-on experience with Rundeck, Jenkins, Git, and Git Ops workflows.

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Helm, and strong familiarity with Linux environments. Intermediate working knowledge of Windows systems is required, as some products are deployed on Windows-based environments.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in release engineering practices.
