What you`ll build:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer

• Penetration Tester at SAP Business Technology Platform, you will conduct advanced security evaluations on various applications and systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective measures. Your expertise will directly contribute to strengthening our organization’s security posture. You will consistently think ahead and out-of-the-box to anticipate new threats and vulnerabilities and contribute to developing cutting-edge defensive strategies.

Participate in penetration testing activities on BTP services and infrastructure identifying security vulnerabilities as part of an experienced team.

Perform manual and automated white-box security assessments using industry-standard tools with a strong focus on Web Applications.

Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate security best practices into SDLC processes.

Keep an open ear for emerging threats, trends, and new technologies in the cybersecurity landscape. Introduce ideas for implementing AI solutions optimizing the every-day processes

Develop deep knowledge of the BTP services, infrastructure and overall architecture

• Take part in various security topics

• EVM, Security Monitoring, Threat Detections, Incident Response

  What you bring:

Degree in computer science, preferably with a focus on Cybersecurity or related field

Experience in web application penetration testing

Experience with security testing tools such as Burp suite, Kali Linux toolset or others

Previous experience with CTFs, bug bounties or other hacking challenges is a bonus

Software Development background is a strong plus

Security Certifications are considered a strong advantage

Being analytical, structured, and a good communicator.

Fluent written and verbal skills in English
