About SAP STAR Program

Global Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program offers university students hands-on industry experience at SAP, the world’s leading software provider. As part of a global program across 14 countries, STAR students work on real business projects and develop professional skills. Unlike most internships, this program allows students to continue their studies at university without taking a break or needing to graduate first. Upon graduation, you will have opportunities to apply for open positions within SAP and potentially become a valued member of our team.

Education and Qualifications

Open to undergraduate and graduate students who meet the following requirements and process the core competencies listed below.

Expected to graduate in Feb. 2027, Aug. 2027, or Feb. 2028 (required)

Technically oriented possessing an aptitude for rapidly learning complex software applications

Be able to rapidly assimilate and distil complex topics in the form of a presentation

Demonstrated aptitude and experience in public speaking

Demonstrated leadership in curricular and/or extra-curricular activities

Strong communication skills including an aptitude and passion for public speaking

Fluent communication skills in English

Creative and resourceful self-starters with strong interpersonal skills who are eager learners

Possess a strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced sales organization

Relationship oriented possessing an aptitude for quickly creating and nurturing connections with others

Possess strong business aptitude

Role Overview: Presales – Solution & Value Advisory

The program includes a rotation system that allows you to participate in up to three different projects or teams within the organization. Your first rotation will be in the Presales area.

In the Presales area, key roles include Solution Advisor and Value Advisor. For this intake, you will be primarily assigned to one of the following teams: Finance and Spend Management (oCFO/Ariba), Finance and Spend Management (S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP), Business Applications, Value Advisory, or Business Technology Platform (BTP).

You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of SAP solution areas, including Enterprise Resource Planning, CRM and Customer Experience, Finance and Spend Management, Human Capital Management, Business Technology Platform, Supply Chain Management, and Business Network. As part of the STAR Program, there may be opportunities to work across additional solution areas through project-based collaboration or rotation, depending on business needs.

Solution Advisor: Support sales engagements through impactful presentations and product demonstrations across the customer lifecycle. Assist in developing and delivering solution demonstrations in collaboration with sales and presales teams. Gain exposure to industry-specific use cases and learn how SAP solutions help customers realize business value and return on investment.

Value Advisor: Support strategic value engagements throughout the customer journey with SAP. Assist in developing and managing customer-specific business cases to articulate and measure value realization, linking business strategy to outcomes enabled by SAP solutions. Contribute to value assurance activities by adapting business cases to evolving customer priorities and supporting customer adoption.

Program & Work Details

  • 18-month structured program with learning, mentorship, and rotations

Employment Type: Fixed-term Intern 18 months

Probation Period: 3 months from the date of hire (extendable if necessary)

The detailed working conditions will be subject to the employment agreement

Full-time (40 hrs/week) during breaks; part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time during semesters

Flexible hours aligned with academic schedules

Eligible to apply for full-time roles after 9 months and graduation

Supports university field practicum / academic credit programs (대학 현장실습 프로그램 / 학점인정 프로그램).
